Well, wouldn't you guess, a day later I've got the cough and a fever. Taking the grownup version of the medicine helped the symptoms, but it went on for 3 days and I considered heading in to see the doctor. I thought I'd give it one more day, just to see. Wouldn't you know it, day 5 and my fever is gone and my cough noticeably better. And I got to save $100 on a second type of medicine.

Drug Directions
So the cough medicine says to visit the doctor if cough persists for more than 3 days. For the dark one, since he's just a kid, we followed those directions. Day 4 we're on our way to the doctor, where he gets an antibiotic prescription. Day 5 he's noticeably better and ready to head back to school the next day.

The Tundra Time Trial
One of my favorite events got a new venue and new promoter this year.
The Tundra Time Trial started in 2003 showcasing the freshly finished Silver Comet trail. Only about 10 miles long, it was a good way to get a fitness benchmark in the early season. I was sitting out with a broken hip the first year, so I missed it. In 2011, the promoter changed venues to about an hour further than I wanted to drive, so I skipped it until this year.
I'm glad I went, because it was a great course, and despite the threat of cold weather, it wasn't too bad.
Anyway, after all that being said, it's another Tundra TT win!
